What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. AskAven also uses your browser's localStorage for the same kinds of purposes — we treat both the same way in this policy.

Categories we use

Category	Purpose	Can you opt out?
Essential	Keeps you logged in (session cookie) and remembers your cookie choice. AskAven cannot function without these.	No — required for login and basic operation.
Analytics	A random, non-personal session ID stored in localStorage so we can see how many people visit, roughly where from, and which pages/features get used — this is the "lead tracker" described in our Privacy Policy.	Yes — choose "Essential only" in the cookie banner.

What we don't do

• We don't use third-party advertising cookies or ad-tracking pixels.
• We don't sell cookie/analytics data to advertisers or data brokers.

Third-party services

When you chat or use voice mode, your message text (not cookies) is sent to Groq's API to generate a response — see our Privacy Policy for details. Groq does not set cookies in your browser through AskAven.

Managing cookies

You can change your choice any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain, which will show the cookie banner again on your next visit. You can also block cookies entirely in your browser settings, though this may prevent you from staying logged in.

We may update this page as AskAven grows. Meaningful changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
